Privacy Policy

Welcome to Taskora ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you download and use the Taskora mobile application available on the Google Play Store.

Please read this policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using Taskora, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

This policy applies to:

• All versions of the Taskora Android application
• All features including tasks, calendar, focus mode, analytics, and settings
• All devices on which the App is installed

A. Data You Provide Directly (Stored Locally Only)

When you use Taskora, you voluntarily create data that is stored exclusively on your device:

• Task titles, descriptions, due dates, and times
• Task priority levels (Low, Medium, High, Urgent)
• Task categories (Personal, Work, Shopping, Health, Education, Finance, Other)
• Task completion status
• App preferences (dark mode, notification settings, onboarding status)
• Focus Mode session counts (Pomodoro timer data)

B. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Your name, email address, or any personally identifiable information (PII)
• Account credentials or login information
• Location data or GPS information
• Contacts, camera, microphone, or media access
• Device identifiers (IMEI, Advertising ID)
• Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
• Crash logs or diagnostic reports sent to us
• Biometric data of any kind

C. Automatically Collected Information

The App itself does not automatically collect any data. However, the Google Play Store and the Android operating system may independently collect anonymized, aggregated statistics about app installs and crashes as part of their standard platform operations. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, not ours.

Since Taskora is an offline-only application, all data processing happens entirely on your device. The data you enter is used solely for the following purposes:

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, machine learning, or any commercial purpose.

Storage Technology: Taskora uses SharedPreferences (Android's built-in key-value local storage) to persist your tasks and settings. This data is stored in the app's private sandboxed directory on your device.

Android Auto-Backup: Android may back up app data (including SharedPreferences) to your personal Google Drive account as part of its built-in backup system. This is controlled entirely by your Google account settings and Android's backup policy — not by us. This backup is encrypted and accessible only to you.

Retention Period: Your data is retained on your device indefinitely until one of the following occurs:

• You manually delete tasks within the App ("Clear All Tasks" in Settings)
• You uninstall the Taskora application
• You clear App data from Android Settings → Apps → Taskora → Clear Data
• You factory reset your device

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with any third party, because we never collect or receive that information in the first place.

We would only disclose information in the following exceptional circumstances, which are currently inapplicable given our architecture:

• Legal obligations: If required by a valid court order or applicable law (we have no data to disclose)
• Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public (we have no data to disclose)
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger or acquisition, users would be notified of any change to this policy

Taskora is a general-audience productivity application. We do not knowingly target children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction).

In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy:

• We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
• The App contains no advertisements, in-app purchases, or social features
• No account registration is required to use the App
• No personal data is collected from any user regardless of age

If you believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate steps. Since no data is transmitted to us, there is nothing for us to delete remotely — deletion would occur by clearing the App's local data on the device.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding personal data. Since Taskora does not collect personal data on our servers, most of these rights are exercised directly on your device:

We take the security of your data seriously. The following protections apply:

• Android App Sandboxing: Your data is stored in a private directory accessible only by the Taskora app, enforced by the Android OS
• No Network Transmission: Since data never leaves your device through our App, there is no risk of interception during transit
• No Central Database: There is no central server or database that could be breached to expose your data
• Device Security: Your data is protected by your device's own security — screen lock, encryption, and Android security model
• Google Play Protect: The App is distributed through Google Play and subject to Google's malware scanning

Taskora uses the following open-source Flutter packages. None of these packages collect, transmit, or share personal data:

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's features, legal requirements, or best practices. When we make significant changes, we will:

• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Post a notice on the App's Google Play Store listing
• Display an in-app notification where technically feasible

Your continued use of Taskora after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Taskora requests only the minimum permissions necessary to function. Below is a complete list:

Notification permission is used exclusively to deliver local, on-device reminders you set yourself. No notifications are triggered remotely by us.
